Teacher Appreciation Bud Vases 5/6, 9-11am

This is a children's workshop to introduce little ones to the joy of locally-grown cut flowers and cut flower arrangement. Children will create a bud vase (small floral arrangement) for their teacher in advance of Teacher Appreciation Week May 8-12. Purchase one ticket per vase that each child would like to make (e.g. if the child has two teachers, purchase two tickets). 

Details:

Lemon Terrace will provide buckets of fresh, locally-grown flowers, a selection of sturdy glass bud vases, and child-sized shears. Each child under 7 y.o. will be required to be helped/supervised by a grown-up. Children can select:

• reusable glass bud vase
  
• 6 stems including a variety of flowers and greens
• a gift bag and tissue paper to carry the vase to school in 
• a handmade note card for your thank you message

Location: Saturday, May 6, 9-11am in the round at the Good Witch Coffee Bar 134 Southside Avenue Hastings-on-Hudson NY. Curb parking is available outside or across the street at the commuter parking lot. This space is wheelchair, walker, & cane accessible (no steps). Please let us know how we can best accommodate any accessibility needs. Sliding scale pricing of $8 is available by request.
