Galentines Design 123: 2/11 3pm

Start enjoying the practice of floral design with our easy-to-learn 123 style that makes floral arrangements look intentional and interesting. This is a Galentines event for women & nonbinary folks. FACE MASKS REQUIRED - we will have extra if needed. 

Details:

Workshop will be held Saturday February 11 from 3-4pm. Each participant will receive all the flowers, vase, and techniques to create a small table centerpiece with a purple or pink theme, which will include: 

• 10-15 stems including a variety of flowers and greens
• reusable vase & floral tape
• All the tools and supplies you need provided by Lemon Terrace Florals

Class will cover:

• Developing an interesting color palette 
• Preparing your stems for the vase
• Preparing the vase for designing
• Developing the shape of your arrangement
• Critique and assistance in floral "secrets of the trade" to make a standout design

Location: 3 Spring Street Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706. Curb parking is available outside or across the street at the library. This space is wheelchair, walker, & cane accessible (no steps). Sliding scale pricing of $55 is available for for BIPOC, Seniors living on Social Security, and Folks living on Disability or Unemployment Benefits.
